Over the past 60 years of building, fighting, and maturing, the air defense missile force has overcome all difficulties and hardships, operated across various complex terrains, and creatively devised unique, intelligent tactics. These efforts brought about resounding victories, significantly contributing to the overall triumph of the nation.
Today, the missile force continues to uphold and promote its glorious tradition, joining other units in building a revolutionary, regular, elite, and modern Air Defense - Air Force Service, following the direction of being streamlined and strong.

The “60 Years – Power of Vietnam’s Fire Dragon” exhibition features nearly 400 documents, images, and artifacts showcasing major battles, outstanding victories, and the heroic sacrifices of generations of officers, soldiers, and fallen heroes. The exhibition is divided into five sections, namely Formation and establishment of the Vietnamese Air Defense Missile Force and victory in its first battle on July 24, 1965; Victories over the U.S. Air Force (1965–1975); National construction and defense cause (1975–1999); Firm defense of national airspace (1999 to present); Prestigious awards received by the Missile Force.
The exhibition runs from July 17 to September 5 at the Air Defense - Air Force Museum, Hanoi.
