Accordingly, the returners passed through the border station of the Tay Trang International Border Gate. After undertaking a medical declaration, they will be quarantined for 14 days at the headquarters of the Ta Leng Cu commune People’s Committee.

The returners consist of 47 males and 25 females, including many couples and children. Most of them are traders in Laos and come from different localities in Vietnam.

When receiving the returners, the city’s military command in association with relevant forces had their body temperatures checked, asked them to submit medical declaration forms, and provided necessities and accommodations for them.

Colonel Le Anh Dai, Commander of the city’s military command, held that the unit has closely followed higher levels’ instructions on the pandemic prevention while building a concrete plan to respond to the disease.

As of March 31, the province has welcomed and transferred 916 citizens to concentrated quarantine areas. Of them, 142 have fulfilled the 14-day quarantine time. Notably, 479 people are now being quarantined at units of the provincial Military Command.
