Deputy Defense Minister presents gifts to AO/Dioxin victims
PANO – Deputy Defense Minister Sr. Lt. Gen. Hoang Xuan Chien visited and offered gifts to the Vietnam Association of Agent Orange(AO)/Dioxin Victims (VAVA) on the occasion of the Tet (lunar New Year) festival on January 11, 2022.
On behalf of the Central Military Commission and the Ministry of National Defense, General Chien applauded outcomes of the association over the past time, especially in implementing activities in commemoration of the 60th Day of Vietnam Agent Orange Disaster.

The deputy minister affirmed that the Central Military Commission and the Ministry of National Defense will always accompany and support activities of the VAVA. He hoped that the association will continue disseminating information related to the AO disaster in Vietnam to the community, receiving more support from international friends, individuals and groups at home and abroad, contributing to improving living conditions of AO/Dioxin victims.
On the occasion of the traditional Tet festival, General Chien extended greetings and wished VAVA members and their families good health and success.
