Deputy Defense Minister inspects MR1
PANO - Military Region 1 (MR1) should continue strengthening the management and education for troops to reduce the number of discipline or law violations, anticipate and consider possible violators, detect causes, and provide effective advice for higher levels to promptly prevent them.
At the inspection session
Deputy Minister of National Defense Sr. Lt. Gen. Le Chiem made that statement to MR1 chain-of-command when leading a mission of the Ministry of National Defense to the region on April 19 for inspection of the unit's legislative bodies on their task performance.
During the meeting with the region's chain-of-command, General Chiem and his entourage were briefed on the situations of common crimes and army-related crimes in the area over the past time, collaboration among relevant units in law enforcement and crime prevention, and so on.
On behalf of the Central Military Commission and the Ministry of National Defense, the deputy defense minister urged the region's chain-of-command at different levels to promote examples in obeying the State's law and the army's discipline, closely collaborate with law enforcement forces in the area, and build good personnel and organizations, contributing to fulfilling their missions in the time to come.
