General Phung Quang Thanh talking with demobilized soldiers |
All demobilized soldiers are from the Northern provinces and cities. Among them, 90 outstanding individuals were presented with certificates of merit and 37 are members of the Communist Party of Vietnam.
The general highly applauded their hard training, practice and efforts to successfully fulfil their assigned missions over the time of their service, ensuring security for the ministry’s organs.
The minister also asked them to bring into full play their military experience to obtain success in future, continue heightening the image of Uncle Ho’s soldiers, strive to better support their families and communities, and educate younger generations of the history of the foundation and development and good traditions of the Vietnam People’s Army after returning to their hometowns.
