PANO – A delegation of the Defense Ministry's Steering Committee on Administrative Reform, led by Deputy Defense Minister-cum-Chairman of the committee Lieutenant General Nguyen Tan Cuong, inspected administrative reforms in Military Region 7 on November 17.
During the working session, the delegation was briefed on the region’s administrative reforms since the beginning of the year, and took tours to inspect results of administrative reforms of units as well as checked troops’ awareness of administrative reform.
Over the past time, the MR7’s leaders and Party committees of subunits have attached much importance to administrative reforms, promoting responsibility and the exemplary role of the leaders of units in accelerating administrative reforms and enhancing education on administrative reforms for troops.
As a way to carry out administrative reforms, agencies and units often reviewed, made public administrative procedures and promptly update new-style administrative procedures.
Concluding the inspection, General Cuong acknowledged and hailed the achievements of MR7’s results of administrative reforms over the past time. He also asked the unit to strengthen the leadership and direction of the Party committees and chains of command at all levels over the implementation of administrative reforms. They should also realize targets and requirements of the administrative reforms in the period of 2021-2030 and promote information and education about administrative reforms. The process of administrative reforms in the military should serve the building of e-government, the deputy defense minister added.
