The field hospital is built to receive and treat COVID-19 cases. Therefore, all functional forces should be on standby and make all preparations for the establishment of the hospital at request.
In addition, relevant agencies and units were asked to closely work with the Ministry of Health and local medical organizations to provide sufficient medical equipment, logistic supplies, support vehicles and medicines for the hospital’s operation.
The delegates also discussed how to make sure the hospital will run smoothly once operational, such as regulations, leadership mechanism, and location to build the hospital.
Concluding the conference, General Kien highly valued great efforts of the permanent organ of the Steering Committee of the Ministry of National Defense on the prevention of COVID-19. He urged functional agencies to review the delegates’ contribution and better the plan to submit to the committee and leaders of the Ministry of National Defense for consideration and approval.
