The general was briefed upon the task accomplishment of VHC over the past time. In 2016, VHC was licensed to operate 84 flight routes for oil and gas service, missing in action search, tourism and training. The flights are to depart from heliports of the corps and civilian ones to 120 sites. As for cooperation with foreign countries, VHC has delivered services to Norway, Malaysia, India, and Timor Leste for oil and gas exploration; Indonesia for forest fire prevention and firefighting; and conducted 125 MIA flight missions.
Addressing the inspection, Lieutenant General Phan Van Giang hailed the achievements of the corps and required that VHC should lay more focus on training for its staff with diversified methods so as to meet the target of safe and effective flight with all existing equipment.
