Border marker checking road put into use in Lang Son
PANO - The Lang Son provincial Border Guard Command held an inauguration ceremony on June 16 for a road to serve the checking of border markers under the management of Bac Xa Border Post.
The road was constructed by troops from Bac Xa Border Post, the police force of Dinh Lap district, civil servants, and locals in Bac Xa and completed within one month.

Bac Xa Border Post is tasked to manage a 33-km border section with 40 border markers and one commune in Dinh Lap district, Lang Son province. Since 2022, under the direction of the provincial border guard command and support of Dinh Lap district’s leadership, the unit has concretized 27 out of 40 roads to serve border marker checking and protection. Since the beginning of this year alone, businesses have donated to build eight roads of this kind.
Once put into use, the road will create favorable conditions for border guard troops to better complete the mission of managing and protecting the borderline and facilitate locals’ production activities.
Deputy Political Commissar of the Lang Son provincial Border Guard Command Senior Colonel Tran Quang Trung emphasized that the project has actualized the sound guidelines of the Party and State on border management and protection. It continues to affirm that managing and protecting border areas is a key and regular mission of the whole Party, people, military, agencies, industries, and political system with border guards as the specialized force.
