Armored Corps opens competition for tank crews
PANO – The Armored Corps opened a competition for tank crews throughout the military on April 22.
Under the theme of “Good tank crews,” the competition drew the participation of 15 teams with 230 personnel from armored units in the whole military.

During the event, participating tank crews will compete in such events as combined driving and shooting, emergency aid for wounded soldiers and political awareness, to name but a few. They will also join an art performance contest.
Speaking at the event, Major General Do Dinh Thanh, Commander of the Armored Corps, stressed that the competition was held to evaluate training results and combat readiness capabilities of tank crews throughout the military. In addition, the event aims to select additional members for the national tank contingent which will compete in the International Army Games 2021 and others.
The competition will end on April 26.
