Deputy Chief of the General Staff Lieutenant General Pham Truong Son attended and directed the exercise which was a significant event to mark the 80th anniversary of the Vietnam People’s Army (December 22, 1944 - 2024) and the 35th anniversary of the Whole-People Defense Festive Day.

The exercise aimed to assess units’ training quality, combat readiness capabilities, weapon quality, and technical supplies. The event also served as an opportunity to train and enhance participants’ command and combat capabilities, and operational skills, especially in complex scenarios. Lessons learned will be applied to improve command and training aligned with practical requirements.

To ensure the success of the exercise, all relevant agencies and units within the Air Defense - Air Force Service effectively prepared, ensuring adequate equipment and munitions and smoothing communication system. They also coordinated closely with local authorities to ensure security and social order in the shooting range area.
