VPA delegation exchanges with Lao and Chinese peers

The exchanges took place during break-time of the training session on May 8, a day before the official parade on the Red Square to mark Russia’s Victory in the Great Patriotic War (May 9, 1945 - 2025). It was a good opportunity for young troops of Vietnam, Laos, and China to sing together in the spirit of friendship.

After the training session, the VPA delegation had half a day to rest. On May 9, the delegation woke up at 3 a.m. (Moscow time) to make preparations and head for Red Square.
