The Defense Strategy Institute of the Vietnamese Ministry of National Defense and the Department of Military Science and History of the Lao Defense Ministry signed a MoU in March 2017.(Photo for illustration - VNA)
During the visit, the Vietnamese delegation had meetings with Lao Deputy Defense Minister Lieutenant General On Sisen Souk and the Lao Department of Military Science and History to discuss history projects and a warfare review; conference and seminars, training courses about military history; cooperation on scientific research and experience exchange between the two armies.

The host provided materials and documents about the party and political work of the VPA’s General Staff during their support for the Lao struggle for national liberation.

In addition, the two sides agreed on some contents of cooperation in the time to come such as expertise training on military history research, and more.
