The two sides conduct law dissemination activities for people in both sides of the shared border. |
During the event, the two sides focused on disseminating information about the three legal documents on the Vietnam - China land border, bilateral cooperation agreements, regulations on immigration and cross-border trade, as well as measures to prevent and combat crime, human trafficking, and illegal transportation of goods. Participants also received guidance on fire prevention and firefighting, search and rescue skills, and appropriate responses to emergencies in border areas.

Distributing leaflets to local people |
Also at the event, the functional forces of the two countries distributed more than 5,000 leaflets and practical household items, including shopping bags, tissues, and plastic basins, printed with legal awareness messages. These materials help local people more easily access, remember, and comply with regulations on travel and activities across the Vietnam - China border.
The combination of visual communication, distribution of educational materials, and direct interaction with local people helped enhance their awareness of law observance, foster a culture of civility, and strengthen people's sense of responsibility for protecting the national border and border markers.

The program contributed to strengthening coordination between the functional forces of the two countries in border management and protection; encouraging local people to actively participate in maintaining security and public order in border areas, and consolidating the whole-people border defense posture in close association with the people's security posture, thereby helping build a Vietnam-China border of peace, friendship, stability, cooperation, and development.
