The handover ceremony is held virtually.

Speaking at the handover ceremony, Lt. Gen. Nguyen Van Nghia, Deputy Chief of the General Staff and head delegate of the Vietnamese defense delegation to the meeting, congratulated the host Myanmar for the successful organization of ACAMM-22 as well as task accomplishment of ACAMM Chairmanship.

He stressed that the ACAMM has become an annual forum for ASEAN Chiefs of Army to meet and discuss issues of mutual concern, respond to traditional and non-traditional security threats, as well as accelerate cooperation among ASEAN Armies.

He underlined that the cooperation among the armies and the militaries of ASEAN members is important to each country in particular and the ASEAN Community in general, especially in response to the rapid and complicated developments of the regional and global security situations.
