Also on July 7, 51 members of L2FH Rotation 4 boarded C17 aircraft to return home, completing their over one-year tenure at UNMISS. Twelve remaining members will hand over the duties to their peers from L2FH Rotation 5 and fly home later.
Performing duties far from home in the condition of lacking medical supplies, medicines and equipment, deteriorated technical infrastructure after many years of use, L2FH Rotation 4’s staff have weathered all difficulties and successfully fulfilled their tasks, leaving good impressions on international friends and people of the host country, and receiving high appreciation from the UNMISS and the U.N.
