U.S. Navy and Coast Guard’s ships visit Khanh Hoa province

A welcome ceremony was held in the presence of leaders of Naval Region 4 of the Vietnam People's Navy, Coast Guard Region 3 of the Vietnam Coast Guard Command, and the Khanh Hoa provincial Department of Foreign Affairs and representatives from relevant agencies of Vietnam.

Representatives from military units and localities join the event.

The event also saw the presence of U.S. Ambassador and Defense Attaché to Vietnam and representatives from the U.S. Embassy in Vietnam.

During the visit, Commander of the 7th Fleet under the U.S. Indo-Pacific Command and ships’ commanding officers pay a courtesy call on leaders of the Khanh Hoa provincial People’s Committee and the Vietnam People’s Navy.

The guests will have sports exchanges with troops of Naval Region 4 and Coast Guard Region 3, share professional knowledge with functional agencies of the Ministry of National Defense, hold an exchange in English, visit support establishments for children and underprivileged people.
