On the morning of August 9, Singaporean Naval Force’s ship RSS ENDURANCE with 250 officers and crew moored at Sai Gon seaport, Ho Chi Minh City at the invitation of the Vietnamese government to commence a visit to the country.
During the stay in HCM City, all members of the Singaporean ship are expected to lay wreaths of flowers at the Ho Chi Minh monument and pay a call at the HCM City People’s Committee.
The delegation is due to visit the Command of Military Zone 7 and the Vietnam People’s Navy Commands. On their visit to the Navy Technical High School, they will have friendly volleyball matches with the school’s cadets.
Before closing the visit on August 13, officers and crews will go sightseeing round the city.
