Ship 8005 starts working trip to India
PANO - On December 3, in Ba Ria - Vung Tau province, the Coast Guard Region 3 Command of the Vietnam Coast Guard held a ceremony to see off Ship 8005 and a delegation onboard to visit India.
The mission is led by Senior Colonel Nguyen Minh Khanh, Deputy Commander and Chief of Staff of the Coast Guard Region 3 Command.

Speaking at the send-off ceremony, Major General Ngo Binh Minh, Commander of the Coast Guard Region 3, underlined that Ship 8005’s working trip to India plays a crucial role in strengthening and developing the already strong relationship between Vietnam and India in general and between the maritime law enforcement forces of the two countries in particular.
He also asked the delegation to thoroughly grasp their tasks and promptly deal with issues in any circumstances in accordance with foreign affairs regulations.
During the working trip, the Vietnamese delegation will visit and pay courtesy calls on leaders of local authorities and the Indian Coast Guard’s Western Region, as well as conduct cultural and sports exchanges. On this occasion, both sides will engage in joint exercises covering search and rescue operations, firefighting, and oil spill response.
