Preparations for L2FH No.2 checked
PANO - The Ministry of National Defense (MND)'s Steering Committee on Vietnam's participations in United Nations Peacekeeping Operations held a meeting on March 11 to review preparations for the deployment of Vietnam’s Level-two Field Hospital (L2FH) No.2 under the chair of Deputy Defense Minister Senior Lieutenant General Nguyen Chi Vinh.
Present at the event were also Senior Lieutenant General Pham Ngoc Minh, Deputy Chief of the General Staff and Lieutenant General Le Hien Van, Deputy Director of the General Department of Politics of the Vietnam’s People Army.

During the meeting, delegates discussed preparations of L2FH No.2’s replacement for L2FH No.1 in South Sudan by the end of this year. Reportedly, members of the hospital have thoroughly understood and been prepared to undertake their assigned missions.
They were enrolled in English and pre-deployment training courses, and drilled in professional skills.
Speaking at the event, General Vinh required the Vietnam Department of Peacekeeping Operations and the Military Medicine Academy to continue collaborating with relevant agencies to fulfill the preparation, focusing on completing the structure of, and ensuring necessary facilities and equipment for the hospital.
