MND leader hosts Lao air defense-air force officers
PANO - The leadership of the Vietnamese Ministry of National Defense (MND) always creates favorable conditions for the air defense-air force services of Vietnam and Laos to develop their cooperation in an effective manner and to serve each country’s defense-security cause, confirmed Senior Lieutenant General Phan Van Giang.

Gen. Giang, member of the Party Central Committee, permanent member of the Central Military Commission, Chief-of-the-General Staff of the Vietnam People’s Army and Deputy-Defense Minister made that confirmation during the reception on December 26 at the MND’s headquarters for a visiting delegation from the Air Defense and Air Force Departments under the Lao People’s Army, led by Senior Colonel Phaylat Phimmasak, Director of the Air Defense Department.
At the meeting, Senior Colonel Phaylat Phimmasak informed Gen. Giang of the outcomes of the working session with the Command of the Air Defense-Air Force Service of Vietnam. Accordingly, the two sides reviewed their cooperation achievements over the past time and discussed upcoming cooperation orientations with a focus on delegation exchanges, training, and technical cooperation.
