Russia’s invitation for the Vietnam People’s Army (VPA) to participate in this significant event not only reflected its respect and high regard for Vietnam’s role, but also served as a vivid testament to the traditional friendship and comprehensive strategic partnership between the two countries, particularly in bilateral defense cooperation.

This was the first time Vietnam had dispatched a military contingent to join a military parade in a foreign country, a concrete activity to implement Vietnam’s consistent foreign policy of independence, self-reliance, multilateralization, and diversification, showing Vietnam’s responsibility in the building and maintenance of an environment of peace, stability, cooperation and development.

The performance of the VPA’s delegation on the Red Square contributed to spreading the images of the VPA in the eyes of international friends.

The People’s Army Newspaper would like to introduce some photos of the VPA’s delegation in training and in the military parade on the Red Square.
