The conference agreed that the work was carried out as planned with high quality and practical effectiveness. Importantly, organizations and units actively improved the work while implementing the task on external affairs and proactively submitted recommendations to the Party, the State and the Central Military Commission on national defence and security-related important issues.
Through defence external affairs, Vietnam has bolstered its friendship and cooperation with other countries, making contributions to maintaining national independence, sovereignty, territorial integrity and interest and to enhancing the nation’s combat ability and defence strength.
Noteworthily, the popularization of the defence external affairs work has been promoted following closely the direction of leaders of the Ministry of National Defence and the General Department of Politics of the Vietnam People’s Army (VPA), ensuring its high quality and good orientation. In addition, the nation and the army’s important events have been covered by domestic and international news agencies and newspapers.
