During the meeting, Vice Admiral Ly Hout, Commander of the Frontline Tactical Command Headquarters of the General Secretariat of the Cambodia National Committee for Maritime Security, warmly welcomed the Vietnamese coast guard delegation. He briefed the delegation on the historical and cultural values as well as the political, and socio-economic situation in Preah Sihanouk Province.

Both sides exchanged information regarding the outcomes of the hotline communication protocol's implementation between the Vietnam Coast Guard and the Cambodia National Committee for Maritime Security. Specifically, they discussed results of controlling fishing vessels operating illegally, preventing illegal entry and exit at sea, search and rescue missions, marine environmental protection, as well as situations of crimes, smuggling, and related incidents.

Commander of the Coast Guard Region 4 Senior Colonel Tran Van Luong expressed his thanks for the warm reception of the Frontline Tactical Command Headquarters, emphasizing that recent frequent exchanges and connection between the two sides have contributed to building good relationship, mutual understanding and trust between the two forces. This has aided in establishing a peaceful, stable, secure, cooperative, and developed maritime region. He expressed hope that both sides would continue to enhance information exchange, expand cooperation in law enforcement, and further improve the hotline.
