State President Truong Tan Sang and Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung on July 1 cabled messages of condolences to Indonesian President Joko Widodo over the recent crash of a military aircraft that killed hundreds of people.
The same day, Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Pham Binh Minh conveyed his sympathy to Indonesian Foreign Minister Retno Marsudi.
The C130 plane crash occurred in the city of Medan in northern Sumatra province on June 30.
By July 1 afternoon, 141 bodies have been found at the crash site, which is in a residential area.
