The Vietnamese booth drew a lot of businesses and potential customers wishing to explore the land, people and tourism potential of the Southeast Asian country.

Ambassador Nguyen Minh Tri hailed the potential to develop tourism between Vietnam and Ukraine, noting that a large number of Vietnamese are studying and working in Ukraine and the East European nation has long been familiar with Vietnamese people.

For Ukrainian friends, Vietnam remains a potential land where they could explore the beautiful landscapes and long-standing culture, he said, adding that Ukraine welcomes Vietnam’s participation in the event.

At the trade fair and previous working sessions with Ukraine, Vietnam stated its policy of simplifying visa procedures, especially for tourists between the two countries.

More than 22,000 visitors are expected to join the fair, 94 percent of whom are tourism experts.
