The EUR 1.6 million project will be undertaken by the French and Finnish nuclear safety authorities and Belgian, French and German technical safety organizations, namely Bel V, IRSN and GRS.
The project is to support Vietnam in establishing its legal framework and regulate operational efficiency before the nuclear power program is officially implemented. Under the project, technical capability of the Nuclear and Radiation Safety Department’s personnel is expected to be improved so that theywill be able to produce nuclear power in Vietnam in the future.
