Governor-General La Grenade expressed her admiration for Vietnam’s past struggle for national liberation and reunification, as well as the country’s notable achievements in the renewal process under the leadership of the Communist Party of Vietnam.

She congratulated My on his appointment as Vietnamese Ambassador to Grenada and expressed confidence that, with his experience, he will make significant contributions to enhancing bilateral relations in the coming years.

On this occasion, Governor-General La Grenade extended her thanks to State President Luong Cuong for the invitation to attend the official signing ceremony of the United Nations Convention against Cybercrime, to be held in Hanoi on October 25–26. She confirmed that Grenada will send a representative to the event.

For his part, Ambassador My pledged to continue efforts to advance friendship and cooperation across all fields between the two countries.

During his time in Grenada, the ambassador also paid a courtesy call on Prime Minister Dickon Mitchell, who is also the leader of the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC). At the meeting, both sides agreed to foster friendship and cooperation between the two ruling parties, creating a solid political foundation for further strengthening bilateral ties across various areas.

Earlier, he had a meeting with Joseph Andall, Grenada’s Minister for Foreign Affairs, Trade and Export Development.
