The signing of the MoU serves as a key legal foundation for both sides to implement joint activities in fire prevention, firefighting, and rescue operations, contributing significantly to maintaining social order and safety and socio-economic development of both Vietnam and China.
It also marks a step forward in strengthening the relationship between the two ministries, and more broadly, between the two nations. The pact formalizes the cooperation framework between the two sides in the field of national defense and security, in line with the spirit of the countries’ joint statement on further strengthening the comprehensive strategic cooperative partnership and building a Vietnam-China community with a shared future that carries strategic significance.
