Vice-President visits New South Wales, Sydney universities
PANO - Vice-President Dang Thi Ngoc Thinh on April 27 visited the University of New South Wales (UNSW) and the University of Sydney (UoS) and attended the launching ceremony of the Vietnam Center and an event to introduce the Imperial costume in the Later Le Dynasty.
Talking with UNSW President Ian Jacobs, Thinh affirmed that Vietnam always values achievements of Australia’s advanced education and stands ready to create favorable conditions for Australia’s educational establishments, including UNSW, to further enhance collaboration with Vietnam.

At the UoS, the Vice-President spoke highly of the university’s cooperation with Vietnam, especially its Sydney Medical School.
* The same day, Vice-President Dang Thi Ngoc Thinh met with Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, head of the Bangladesh delegation on the sidelines of the 28th Global Summit of Women (GSW) in Sydney, Australia.
* Following the activities of the Global Women Summit in Sydney on April 27th, the Vietnam delegation, led by the Vice-President participated in the joint sessions of the conference.
