The receptions were the last activities of the top legislator in his official visit to the RoK from December 13-15.
Amkor Technology is implementing a project worth 1.6 billion USD for manufacturing, assembling and testing semiconductor materials at the Yen Phong 2 Industrial Park (IP) in the northern province of Bac Ninh. Meanwhile, Hana Financial Group is cooperating with the Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Investment and Development of Vietnam (BIDV).

Talking to President and CEO of Amkor Technology Korea Inc Ji Jong-rip, N.A. Chairman Hue stressed that Vietnam will support and accompany Amkor Technology in implementing its project in Bac Ninh, and creates favourable conditions for the firm to invest in sustainable business development in the country.
He suggested Amkor Technology assist Vietnamese businesses in improving their capacity to be able to join global supply chains.
For his part, Ji Jong-rip said that Vietnam has great potential, especially in terms of human resources and raw materials, which can ensure sustainability and stability for his company's long-term development.
Amkor has diversified products and a global customer base, he said, noting that when its plant becomes operational, it will contribute to Vietnam’s economic development.
While meeting with Chairman of Hana Financial Group, Inc Kim Jung-tai, the Vietnamese top legislator suggested Hanabank continue to share advanced management experience and new business methods based on technological platform, and encourage Korean partners to expand investment in Vietnam.
Kim Jung-tai revealed that Hanabank plans to participate in BIDV's charter capital increase plan, and it will continue expanding cooperation to help BIDV develop successfully in the near future.
