Tam promised that Ho Chi Minh City will create favorable conditions for businesses of the two sides to promote economic and commercial partnership.

She said similarities in the history of struggle to gain national independence shared by Vietnam and Morocco would serve as the basis for the two countries to step up their collaboration in the realms that they have potential and can support each other.

Agreeing with Tam’s view, Habib El Malki said with historical similarities and diverse culture, Morocco and Vietnam, including Ho Chi Minh City, have opportunities to join hands in economy, trade and investment.

The Moroccan leader expressed his hope to establish a friendly cooperative relationship between Ho Chi Minh City and Casablanca, the largest city of Morocco, as well as relations between the city’s business community with its counterpart in Casablanca, contributing to boosting bilateral cooperation in economy and trade.
