The Party leader made the suggestion during a reception for President of the Moroccan House of Representatives Habib El Malki in Hanoi on December 19. 

He welcomed Malki’s visit, describing it as a highlight in friendly relations between the two legislatures and the two nations in general.

Trong took this occasion to thank Morocco for its solidarity with and support to Vietnam during its past struggle for national liberation and reunification and the current process of national construction and development. 

The Party chief also spoke highly of Morocco’s role in the Middle East-North Africa region. 

For his part, Malki affirmed his desire and determination to promote the friendship and cooperation between the two countries and the two parliaments in particular. 

He urged the two countries to capitalize on opportunities and potential to foster bilateral ties for mutual development. 

The President lauded Vietnam’s external and internal policies as well as its achievements and role in the region and the world. 

He believed that under the leadership of the CPV, the Vietnamese people would obtain greater successes in the process of national construction, protection and development.
