Front leader receives Chairman of DPRK’s trade union agency
The Vietnamese Party and State will create favorable conditions for trade union organizations of Vietnam and the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (DPRK) to expand cooperation, towards promoting friendship between the two countries, a Vietnamese official has said.
In a meeting with Chairman of the General Federation of Trade Unions of Korea (GFTUK) Ju Yong Gil in Hanoi on August 29, President of the Vietnam Fatherland Front (VFF) Central Committee Tran Thanh Man congratulated the organization on its great achievements in national development.
He said he hopes that under the leadership of the Workers' Party of Korea, the DPRK people will achieve greater achievements.
Man expressed his belief that the delegation’s visit will strengthen cooperation between the two countries’ trade union agencies and bilateral relations in general.
For his part, Ju Yong-gil briefed his host on political, socio-economic situation and movements of workers and trade unions in the DPRK.
He said the GFTUK will continue to cooperate with the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor (VGCL) for the benefits of laborers and people of the two nations.
