Former Vietnamese military experts and volunteer soldiers receive Laos’ orders
PANO – The Laos Embassy in Vietnam on November 24 presented the country’s Order in acknowledgment of the great contributions by former Vietnamese cadres, experts and volunteer soldiers to Laos’ revolution in the past.

Speaking at the event, Laos' Ambassador to Vietnam Thongsavanh Phomvihane expressed deep gratitude to Vietnamese Party, State, Government and people, especially Vietnamese military experts and volunteer soldiers, for their contribution to the revolution of the Lao people and affirmed that their support was clear evidence of the special and time-honored friendship between the two countries.
On behalf of Lao President and Prime Minister, Ambassador Thongsavanh Phomvihane handed over the first class Freedom Order to 43 individuals, the first class Victory Order to 72 others and anti-French and anti-American Order to 105 others.
