EuroCham and Ho Chi Minh City enhance cooperation
PANO – Nguyen Thanh Phong, Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City Municipal People's Committee on January 9 met with a delegation of the European Chamber of Commerce in Vietnam (EuroCham), led by its Chairman Nicolas Audier.
Over the past time, EuroCham has launched many activities and programs to promote the city’s economic potential among European enterprises and the city, said Nicolas Audier.

During the meeting, the two sides also discussed measures in the fields of smart urban construction, green and renewable energy development, transportation and logistics, pharmaceutical trading and auto industry issues.
For his part, Nguyen Thanh Phong lauded the effective cooperation between EuroCham and Vietnam in general and Ho Chi Minh City in particular. The city’s leaders will instruct relevant organs to closely cooperate with EuroCham to enhance cooperation programs and create all favorable conditions for European enterprises to invest in Ho Chi Minh City.
On the same day, Nguyen Thanh Phong also met with the Vice-President of Operations for Southeast Asia from Hilton Worldwide Group in Vietnam, Paul Hutton. During the working visit, the two sides shared experience as well as potential and mapped out solutions to promote tourism development in Ho Chi Minh City in the times to come.
