Chinese Embassy celebrates National Day
PANO - The Chinese Embassy in Vietnam held a banquet on September 26 evening in Hanoi on the occasion of the 74th anniversary of the National Day of the People’s Republic of China (October 1, 1949 - 2023).
Leaders from ministries, departments, and localities of Vietnam and representative offices of foreign countries in Vietnam attended the event. On behalf of the leadership of the Vietnamese Ministry of National Defense, Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Vietnam People’s Army Senior Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Nghia participated in the event.

Addressing the party, Chinese Ambassador to Vietnam Xiong Bo reviewed achievements that Chinese Party, Government, and people have obtained over the past 74 years, particularly socio-economic outcomes in recent years.
The Chinese diplomat affirmed that China always considers the relations with Vietnam a priority direction in its neighboring foreign policy and a strategic choice based on the long-lasting development of the two countries’ relationship.
Ambassador Xiong Bo emphasized that China is willing to work with Vietnam to be consistent with the strategic leadership of the two parties' top leaders, inherit and promote the traditional friendship; bring new connotations of the era to the Vietnam - China comprehensive strategic cooperative partnership, and bring better benefits to the two countries and their people.
