In an interview granted to the Vietnam News Agency on the occasion of the 94th founding anniversary of the CPV (February 3), journalist Fiorda, who has spent many years researching President Ho Chi Minh and the Vietnamese history, said that in a continuously changing and challenging world, the Vietnamese people, under the leadership of the Party, has always shown the capacity to rise from all circumstances to develop, even when the whole world fell into tragic circumstances such as the recent COVID-19 pandemic, or the expansion of capitalism.

They have also gained extremely great achievements in the nation building and safeguarding cause, especially admirable results in the renewal process, he stated.
He said when returning to work in Vietnam recently, he was extremely impressed by the country's development achievements, particularly public transport infrastructure as well as modern urban areas.

All of these achievements are a result of the sound direction of the CPV, creating a stable society both politically and legally, with long-term development policies and programs, added the journalist.
According to Fiorda, Vietnam always promotes economic development, diversifies and expands cooperative relations with all countries, and, at the same time, preserves cultural identity. With a population of 100 million, cultural values such as respect for teachers and the elderly, and freedom to belief and religion are clearly seen in daily life. This shows the sound leadership of the CPV in leading the people not only in political and economic aspects but also in cultural and social life.

Referring to the country's foreign policy, the expert highlighted the unique value of the "bamboo diplomacy" that has brought Vietnam a greater role in the international arena.
He affirmed that the CPV has been flexible in and made the most of its relationships with major countries and the world to create a strategic balance in those relationships, on a basis of respecting national independence and self-determination.
