The Ministry of Industry and Trade has submitted the Government a report on how to control the prices of imported dairy products.

The Ministry has proposed setting up an inter-agency commission to examine the quality and pinpoint any irrational pricing structures set by major milk importers.

The report stated that the prices of imported dairy products in Vietnam last year and during the first few months of this year saw a sharp increase despite a fall in the price of global dairy materials and Vietnam’s import taxes on dairy materials.
