PANO – In the first 10 months of this year, Hanoi attracted 445 foreign investment projects, worth US$ 2.8 billion, an increase of 2.6 times compared to the previous year, said Tran Ngoc Nam – Deputy Director of the Hanoi Department of Planning and Investment.

The information was released at the Hanoi Party Committee's Department of Popularization and Training’s regular conference on November 15.

These investment projects focus on major sectors, including hi-tech sector with Samsung R&D Center project (US$ 300); and environmental field with the Duong River Surface Water Treatment Plant project (US$ 227 million), to name but a few.
