Vietnam - RoK trade and cultural exchanges promoted
PANO - The K-Food Fair 2020 Vietnam, taking place in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City in two periods from October 21 to 23 and November 6 to 8, features the best of Korean cuisine prepared by hundreds of Vietnamese and Korean food companies to promote trade and cultural exchanges between the two countries, especially post-COVID-19 pandemic.
The fair is a chance for businesses to find opportunities for cooperation and tighten the bilateral relationship in an interrupted time.
During the fair, an online business meeting was held with the participation of 56 Korean companies in prominent fields such as fruit, ginseng, drinks, sauces, soy sauce, noodles, and seafood and 150 Vietnamese buyers at the Lotte Hotel Hanoi and Lotte Hotel Sai Gon. Moreover, 27 Korean companies and about 300 Vietnamese buyers had a special session to introduce and discuss impressive Korean food gifts.
As part of the fair, from November 6-8, 56 stalls at the Hanoi Opera House will introduce visitors to typical dishes of both countries made by skillful chefs. They will also be given an opportunity to take a cultural tour of Korean calligraphy art, to pose with famous Korean destinations, and learn about Korean beauty technology.
Visitors will have chances to meet their favorite artists and win awards.
The event is the first of its kind to be organized by the largest number of public and private Vietnamese and Korean organizations ever. The series of events will take Vietnamese people on an exciting journey with high quality tastes as well as enlarge the door for a stronger bilateral relationship.
