At the meeting, chaired by head of the organizing panel - Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Vietnam People’s Army Sr. Lt. Gen. Phung Si Tan, participants heard that the fair has attracted 120 military and civilian enterprises, showcasing diverse and plentiful products. Apart from trade promotion, businesses have paid due attention to technology transfer, provision of utility solutions and services, among others.

In his speech, General Tan praised relevant agencies and units for their close coordination, thorough preparation, and assurance of security and safety. He asked the organizers to keep the event going well and promote trade and related activities.

During the visit to MB Laos

The same day, General Tan leading a mission visited the Lao branch of the Military Commercial Joint-stock Bank (MB Laos).

At the meeting, General Tan highly appreciated the branch’s achievements and its high position and prestige in the Laos market with a contingent of professional personnel, diverse products, modern digital technology application and dedicated service over the past 12 years of operation.

The deputy chief of the General Staff asked MB Laos to promote the image of Uncle Ho’s soldiers in the new period, further economic development coupled with national defense consolidation, creating a peaceful and stable environment in both countries.

He also urged the unit to strictly observe the host country’s law, continue to innovate business activities, promote digital transformation to facilitate customers’ use of its services, and organize social security activities in Laos.
