Volleyball tournament held for armed forces in border areas
PANO - The Dak Lak provincial Border Guard Command, in collaboration with the People’s Committee of Ea Sup, held a volleyball tournament for male military and police officers in border areas from March 3 to 5 in Ea Sup district, Dak Lak province.
The event attracted the participation of six teams from the province’s Public Security Department, the provincial Military Command, the provincial Border Guard Command, Buon Ma Thuot city, Ea H’leo district, and the host Ea Sup district.
Participating teams were divided into two groups and competed in the round-robin format. Teams in the first and second positions from each group competed in the knockout round to determine two final match slots.
At the end of the event, the province’s Public Security Department won the first prize, while team of Ea H’leo district ranked second. The third prizes were presented to volleyball players from Buon Ma Thuot city and the provincial Military Command.

The volleyball tournament was an opportunity for officials and local people of border district of Ea Sup to exchange and consolidate the relationship with troops of the armed forces, agencies, and units in Dak Lak province in general and the province’s border guard force in particular.
The activity also aimed to evaluate and promote physical training and sports movements in Dak Lak province and enhance exchanges and sharing of experience and mutual understanding.
