Upon arrival in Chiba, the team reported stable health and quickly adapted to local conditions. Coach Hoang noted that temperatures in the city, ranging from 14–23 degrees Celsius, are lower than in Ho Chi Minh City but similar to those expected in Hohhot, Inner Mongolia (China), where the championship takes place.

During the training stint, Vietnam are scheduled to play two friendlies against FC Fugador Sumida Ladies on April 23 and the Japanese national women’s futsal team on April 25.

Hoang said that these matches are valuable tests for the team to assess tactical adjustments and squad readiness.

The Vietnamese are set to head to Hohhot on May 1, with a final friendly lined up against the Chinese national team on May 3, just several days ahead of the tournament’s official kickoff.
