A team of all football stars from the K-League Classic, the top of RoK's football league system, will take on the Vietnamese national U22 team at My Dinh National Stadium in Hanoi.

According to VFF’s General Secretary Le Hoai Anh, the friendly match is in preparation for the Vietnam national U22 team prior to the upcoming 29th Southeast Asian Games (SEA Games 29) in August in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

Speaking at the press conference, KFA’s General Secretary Han Oung Soo said that he was impressed at the development of VFF, notably the first-ever participation of the Vietnam national U20 football team in the FIFA U20 World Cup in Korea in May. In addition, he hoped that the match will contribute to the friendship between the two organizations and each country’s football development in the coming time.
