Vietnam targets to enter top 3 at SEA Games 32
PANO - Vietnam has set a goal of achieving 100 gold medals and ranking in Top 3 at the upcoming 32nd Southeast Asian Games (SEA Games 32) in Cambodia.

The goal was revealed during the recent working session between leaders of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Vietnam Sports Administration to discuss the preparations for the games.
The target was described as ‘reasonable’ after Cambodia announced to eliminate many sports that are Vietnam’s strength, such as archery, shooting, canoeing, rowing, wushu, aerobics, kurash, gymnastics, among others. Meanwhile, the host country imposed limitations on registrations to compete in martial arts events.
SEA Games 32 will start with football matches on April 29.
The opening and closing ceremonies of the games will take place on May 5 and 17, respectively.
