Vietnam edge out Myanmar 2-1 in U19 tourney
Striker Le Van Nam scored a crucial goal in the fourth minute of injured time to help Vietnam edge out Myanmar 2-1 in the International U19 Football Tournament at Nha Trang City’s Stadium on April 13.

The score redeemed his mistake when he missed a spot kick in the second half time of the match against Myanmar.
It’s the second win for the host at the tournament after a 2-0 win over Chinese Taipei on Wednesday.
The win took Vietnam to the top of the table in the five-team tournament with six points.
Striker Tuan Anh opened the score for Vietnam 13 minutes into the game when he grabbed an accurate right cross from his team to net the ball.
However, Sone Naing of Myanmar equalized the game in the 19th minute with a specular finish at a close-range shot, stunning Vietnamese goalie Truong Thai Hieu and the defense.
Vietnamese Van Xuan and Viet Anh then missed clear chances to score for the host in the last minutes of the first half.
Striker Le Van Nam missed a clear chance just three minutes into the second half, when he sent a spot kick high over the bar.
In another match on the same day, U19 Hoang Anh Gia Lai was held to a goalless draw by Gwangju FC from the Republic of Korea.
Vietnam will play Hoang Anh Gia Lai on April 18.
