The event is expected to draw the attendance of around 10,000 runners. It is a series of fundraising programs that combine both online and on-field activities.
Since 2013, the “Run for the Heart” program has raised over VND 35 billion to help more than 1,300 Vietnamese children receive free heart surgeries.
Individuals and collectives who are interested in or want to support the program can send donations to the fund in several ways, including visiting Gamuda Land's offices in Ho Chi Minh City, transferring money to the Heartbeat Vietnam program or joining Vietrace365, one of the most popular online virtual race platforms in the running community in Vietnam.
According to the organizing panel, up to now, the program has received support from over 50 big enterprises at home and abroad.
General Director of Gamuda Land Vietnam Dennis Ng shared that the “Run for the Heart” 2023 program will take place after two years of hiatus due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Therefore, the organizing panel expects to receive strong support from the community to raise as much fund as possible to help thousands of children get healthier hearts.
For his part, General Director of the VinaCapital Foundation Rad Kivette affirmed that the support from Gamuda Land and the community has given the unit more strength and motivation to continue its journey to offer quality healthcare service to disadvantaged children and needy families in Vietnam.
