Taking place at Hoiana Resort & Golf, the event will attract kite flying teams from China, Singapore, China’s Taiwan, the Republic of Korean, Japan, Indonesia, the Philippines, Malaysia, Australia, India, and Cambodia, among others.

International Kite Festival - Quang Nam is expected to become an international-level culture, art, and tourism event.

The festival is expected to bring new experiences to tourists with the performances of 100 types of kites and an exhibition on kites. A highlight of the festival will be the LED kites flown every evening during the festival time.

During the event, visitors will have the opportunity to join kite making classes, explore cuisine, as well as enjoy legerdemain and fire dance performances.

According to Deputy Director of the provincial Department of Culture, Sports, and Tourism Van Ba Son, the festival is expected to become an international-level culture, art, and tourism event and be annually held in Quang Nam. This event will offer an opportunity for domestic and international kite flying teams to exchange and share experience in preserving and promoting kite flying and making art.

Hoiana Resort & Golf’s President and CEO Steven Wolstenholme said that with thorough preparation and enthusiasm, the festival will surely bring unique and memorable experiences to tourists to Hoian in particular and Quang Nam in general.
