National Student Football Tournament kicks off
PANO - The military-run telecommunications group (Viettel), in association with the Ministry of Education and Training, the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union Central Committee and the Vietnam Football Federation (VFF), on November 7 kicked off the National Student Football Tournament at the Hanoi University of Science and Technology's stadium.
The tournament draws the participation of 16 qualified teams.

Accordingly, the teams will be divided into four groups and will play in a round-robin format. The top team and the runner-up of each group will advance to the knock-out round.
The final, scheduled on November 18, will be broadcast live on television.
The organizers will present VND 80 million to the champions, VND 60 to the runners-up and VND 40 to two third teams.
After the opening ceremony, a match between the teams from the Hanoi University of Science and Technology and Hue University ended with the draw score of 1-1.
